Dear visitors of this page(s), let me finally introduce "officially" my very special Tripod "flush" SCREW, the one that some (few) buyers of my cases already knows... Sincerily, I am quite proud of this my idea ! Unlike Leica cases screws, and, as far as I know, unlike ALL cases screws, this special "Luigi's" screw still leaves the case bottom perfectly flat, without the uncomfortable protrusion on the bottom, that prevents the case (and the camera) to rest firmly even on the most flat surfaces ! His design permit to easily operate it with any thin coins, and in the lower part there is the useful TRIPOD hole, with the smaller thread, the one actually used by ALL makers.

 


It is quite costly, Eur 50 each (fitted), because: 1. every screw is hand made with a lathe - 2. the screw is all made in solid stainless steel, of which I am a fanatic user, being me a "boat's man"... - 3. to fit well it is a not easy job, it takes a lot of time and care, and there is always the risk to ruine a NEW case !
 
ATTENTION: the "Bottom SCREW" is not fitted in our cases by default ! 
It will be fitted ONLY upon a clear request, and a related payment for it.

around keeping the camera HORIZONTALLY, even if the M5 is one

In order to may offer a LESS EXPENSIVE case to my possible customers, I designed
this new case model that cost A LOT LESS, being NOT hand sewed, that our former
cases. It is actually offered only for leica M, but if it will sell well, I will make some
more models with the same "economic" design, for many other cameras and brands.

This NEW model is made with exactely the SAME high quality leather, and with the
same soft inner suede leather lining used for all our existing cases ! Again, the
much lower cost is offered thanks to my new (idea of) design, that allows us
to sewe/stitch them using a sewing tool, NOT with the slow and difficult
hand sewing ! Try one, you will love it... Eur 80 without strap, or
Eur 125 with the according, recently improved deluxe strap. 
The rear dial M6/MP or M7 cutout will be made for free upon request.

This is the last design of my BROWN half case for Leica M. Now it is available with the M6 or
M7 "cuts", and obviously without them, for the former Leica M models. (Except M5 and CL)
ATTENTION: I often forget to make a rear cutout, also if requested. Then, please,
I need that the cutout request will be ALWAYS clearly stated, in all email
messages, better if well enhanced, and/or also in the "object" field.

A LESS EXPENSIVE STANDARD CASE FOR LEICA M !
Since years ago, I was looking for a GRAY leather, of high quality, for my cases... NOT found !


In the 1st picture you can compare the gray colour, close to a black case, and a black Leica M2...
 
What I found is a LESS expensive particular kind of gray leather, which gray surface has been
"spreaded" with a gray paint-like layer, that has been described as estremely robust, and durable.
Then, being this leather less costy, I can offer this case WITH his identic strap, at a lower price.
Remember, them are made with a DIFFERENT leather, NOT my usual one ! € 120 (case + strap)
